On Saturday, Mar. 10th, Green Apple Folk Music Society will present "A Celtic Afternoon" with a wide variety of Celtic styles.  Music will begin promptly at 2 p.m. at Mosquito Hill Nature Center.  Mike O'Connell & "Flip of the Coin"  Paul Srubas,  Terry Dawson,  Jim Anger,  Pat Schwenke, Steve Peterson with Dan & Dean, & Melissa Mulroy will be performing.  Be prepared to tap your feet, clap your hands, and even join in the singing.  Make sure you wear the green, to help kick off the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.  Ticket prices are $2 for Green Apple members, $5 for not yet members, children under 12 free.  This is a family friendly, alcohol free event featuring local musicians.  Snack treats at intermission. Intermission donations will go to the New London food pantry. On Sunday, Mar. 11th, the Mob Bear Creek presents a corn hole toss tournament at Crystal Falls Banquet Facility beginning at 11 a.m. sharp.  Sign in begins at 9:30 a.m., all teams must sign in and pay before games start.  Teams are 2 people each (no age limit) with a single elimination bracket. The entry fee is $25 per team.  They will also have a 50 / 50 raffle, baskets and other prizes.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase. It’s a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, and lots of creative fun thrown in. On Saturday Mar. 17th, the Shamrock Club of New Dublin will host the St. Patrick’s Day Grand Parade at 1p.m.in downtown New Dublin.  Wisconsin’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parade includes an extensive lineup of bagpipe and marching bands, festive clowns, specialty units, clans, business floats and more – up to 125 units or more.  Prizes are awarded for the best entries.  View the Parade Route.  New Dublin Irish Fest will be held downtown under a huge heated tent by Festival Foods from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and will feature the following entertainment: Sheamus Fitzpatrick and the McNally Boys from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Reilly from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  In addition, there will be Irish food, beverages, and market booths.  Entrance to Irish Fest is $5.00 for the day.

The weekend features musical entertainment, a food tent with the popular “Buffalo Burgers”, as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, beer, and soda. The Grand Raffle will have thousands of dollars of great prizes and features an ATV winch and trailer package. On Wednesday, Apr. 25th, the New London Public Library will hold Babygarten from 11 – 11:30 a.m.  Babygarten has lively, interactive stories, songs and activities for creepers, crawlers, walkers and talkers that will encourage early language and literacy development. On Wednesday, Apr. 25th, the Awana Club weekly meeting will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Lincoln School. This is the final night of the year. Parents are welcome anytime to observe, participate or even be a helper. An Awana club meeting typically consists of three parts; games, memorization / study of bible verses, and a counsel time.
